Join us for the start of an incredible new season as we navigate a marathon 24-hour travel day from New Jersey to Greece! From unexpected airport hurdles to breathtaking Mediterranean views, this episode is packed with the highs and lows of international travel. ✈️ Our journey begins at Newark Airport, where we encountered some of the longest security lines in our eleven years of traveling. After making it through the chaos and grabbing a quick bite, we headed across the Atlantic with stops in Oslo and Copenhagen. You will not believe the price of our airport meal in Denmark, we spent over sixty dollars on a burger and nuggets! We share our honest thoughts on whether the Gasoline Grill lived up to the hype and the hefty price tag. πŸ” Finally arriving in Athens, we settled into our beautiful hotel overlooking the Port of Piraeus. The room tour reveals a stunning view of the water and some local Greek snacks that we could not wait to try. We ended our long day with a massive dinner at a local grill, feasting on fresh Greek salad, pizza, and souvlaki. It was the perfect way to celebrate arriving in one of our favorite countries. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· Chapters 0:00 Starting the Journey at Newark Airport 2:10 Layover and Dining in Copenhagen 4:25 Arriving in Athens and Hotel Tour 7:30 Exploring Piraeus and a Greek Feast 9:55 Travel Recap and What is Next Are you planning a trip to Greece soon or do you have a favorite airport meal?
