Welcome back to another episode of Luchia Sings! Today I am digging through my library to find the songs I have not yet performed for you, and I am starting with a massive hit from the Disney catalog. In this video, I take on the challenge of Let It Go from Frozen. After recently visiting a theme park with a land dedicated to this movie, I felt inspired to give this song my own unique spin. While I might not be Elsa, I poured my heart into this piano arrangement on my beautiful Baldwin piano. Beyond the music, I am sharing a bit more about my personal journey with the piano. I started playing at age five but walked away for decades until picking it back up at forty-three. It has been a healing and moving experience to finally combine singing and playing in a way I never thought possible. I also have some exciting news about my upcoming album! I am planning to remaster my old songs and eventually host a virtual album release party. My goal is to use my music to give back, with all proceeds from the event going to Griffin Pond animal shelter in honor of my beloved cats who have passed away.
