Why Everyone's Biking This Stretch of the Empire State Trail

Hudson is home to a six‑mile on‑road segment of the Empire State Trail, part of the 750‑mile route that connects New York City to Buffalo and the Canadian border. From here you can ride south toward Germantown, Tivoli, and Kingston or north toward Kinderhook and Albany—but for us, the highlight was biking over the Hudson River Skywalk bridge, easily the best part of the ride.
